UMBC Techcenter

Synaptic Research occupies three laboratories plus office space at the UMBC Techcenter. The technology center is located just minutes from the Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) with a number of hotels located nearby. Our labs allow a wide variety of cell culture, spectrofluorometry, plasmid construction, and other disciplines.

Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland

The company also maintains close ties with both Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland. Dr. Oyler assists several graduate students in their thesis work, and the company provides lab space and employment for select graduate and post-doctoral students at Synaptic Research facilities.  For directions to the Synaptic Research facility, go to the Contact Us tab.
